Redemption Church Toils in Epiphany’s Community Garden!
August 3, 2017
“Caring for and loving others in need because we are all made in the image of God is a huge value for our church. We love that you all are for that, and we loved that we could come alongside a great work that was already being done and help however was most helpful!" - John Hamilton
Hamilton and his small army arrived at 9 a.m. ready to start clearing our garden with shovels, rakes, pruning shears, gloves, and yard waste bags. After being guided to the overall goal for the garden, the group proceeded to dig in and dig out unwanted plants, stumps, sand, weeds, and snails! We are so grateful to Redemption Church for clearing the way for additional planting!

“We worked hard for about four hours. The whole time, Epiphany center staff was encouraging and helpful and continued to check on us to make sure we had what we needed, and our small group had a great time with each other!,” Hamilton says.
It has been an honor to welcome Redemption Church to the Epiphany Center community. We look forward to sharing the increased garden bounty with them soon!
