GoogleServe Volunteers at Epiphany Center!!

July 2, 2019

On Tuesday, June 25, there was a spirit of philanthropy among the 22 volunteers from Google who came to Epiphany Center to improve and enhance our site. GoogleServe is a month long event that connects Google employees with volunteer projects. Google sets up hundreds of volunteer projects in the Bay Area alone to facilitate their employees getting involved with helping the community. Epiphany Center was thrilled to be chosen as one such site!

The team of Gogglers got to work repainting our fence, laying down sod (they gave us a new, green lawn in no time!), and cleaned up our community vegetable garden so that new veggies can be planted this summer. It was one industrious volunteer day. We are tremendously thankful for their time and energy! Goggle's care and compassion shone through.

Thank you to each of the 22 Google volunteers for donating approximately 70 volunteer hours to improve Epiphany Center's facilities. We were so happy to participate in GoogleServe, and hope to see Googlers back at Epiphany soon!
