27th Annual Benefit Party & Show Raises Over $175,000 for Epiphany’s Families

On Thursday, February 29th, the Epiphany League's 27th Annual Benefit Party & Show - ‘One Giant Leap’ - blasted off from the Family in Downtown San Francisco to raise essential funds for Epiphany’s life saving services.

The theme, ‘One Giant Leap’, celebrated the tremendous strength, resilience, and achievements of the brave women in our programs. It reinforced the message that every step toward recovery is a giant leap forward in the building of brighter futures for each woman, child, and community.

The Reiterman Family

Since its inception, the Benefit Party & Show has raised over $2,500,000 to ensure Epiphany can meet the ever-changing needs of the more than 250 at-risk families we serve each year. Thanks to the generosity of this year's guests, sponsors, and donors, over $175,000 were raised for the Agency - a portion of which will directly support this year's Fund-A-Need goal - $75,000 for the installation of a new surveillance system to make our building an even safer place for our families and staff (learn more).

Guests enjoyed an outstanding live musical performance, dancing, and an online silent auction (thank you to our donors!), while gaining a deeper understanding of the organization’s mission. That included an in-person testimonial by former Epiphany Client, April, who bravely shared her recovery journey and how she benefitted from 6 of Epiphany Center’s 8 programs.

Cast Members: Victoria Stewart Davis, Nathan Cotham, and Matt Callahan

In addition to celebrating the brave women in our care, the evening also honored Epiphany League member Mrs. LaVerne Reiterman. She was presented with the St. Louise de Marillac Award for her over 20 years of selfless service and unwavering dedication to the Center’s women and children. Mrs. Reiterman’s support for Epiphany and the countless families it serves is truly inspiring! Her passion for helping everyone at the Center has motivated each member of the Epiphany League to continue our efforts in supporting this amazing organization. Congratulations to Mrs. Reiterman!

Thank you to our Party Chair, Celina Tomori, for organizing another beautiful and successful event. A big round of applause to our incredible, all-star cast, musical director, creative director, producer, orchestra, and crew for their musical talents without whom the show would not go on. We are so appreciative of the outstanding scripting and musical talents of Jeffo O’Sammon and Matt Callahan and the phenomenal, all-star cast. Thank you again to Matt Callahan who also led and energized the crowd to raise their hands to donate to this year’s Fund-A-Need.

Your compassion makes a lifetime of difference to our families. From all of us at Epiphany Center, thank you!
