We’re Celebrating You on National Philanthropy Day!
October 30, 2015
We’re celebrating National Philanthropy Day on November 15th by wishing big thanks to all of Epiphany Center’s kindhearted volunteers, donors, community supporters, funders, the Epiphany League, and the Ladies of Charity. We could not continue empowering hundreds of women and children without each one of you.
Why do you give back?
“I continue to be amazed by the resiliency of the women who come to Epiphany Center at the lowest ebb of their lives, and within a relatively short span of time, grow by leaps and bounds. It’s a wonderful testament to their personal courage.”
“Since joining the League, my favorite memories are of the client lunches around the holidays. That wonderful feeling of togetherness and joint enterprise is very enjoyable.”
“I was impressed with the mission of the League members to help empower the city’s at-risk women and children. I felt a desire to help women with none of the advantages I’d had. I also felt fortunate my daughters had no drug or alcohol issues, so I wanted to help those who did.”
“I have learned how important the littlest things can be to make someone feel good and not to take anything for granted. When it comes to the clients, doing the smallest thing can mean the world to them.”
