Happy Birthday, St. Louise de Marillac, D.C.
August 12, 2014
Born August 12, 1591, Saint Louise de Marillac was the co-founder, with St. Vincent de Paul, of the Daughters of Charity who founded Mount St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth now known as Epiphany Center. The patron saint of social workers, she was way ahead of her time, caring for the poor. Today, she serves as such an inspiration to all of us here at Epiphany Center. Happy Birthday!
